wanker droppers
« on: November 10, 2009, 07:35:33 AM »
Not sure what the cause is, but I see one of these every year.  Well this year I saw two in the same trip, if not same day. Nothing compared to the big criiter in the Chewuck thread, and I saw two bigger bucks in the back of a tribal rig in Republic, so people are scoring.......  I haven't seen the likes of the bucks in that truck for a long time, and he had two of them.  UNREAL

YES, I DID.  Made me physically/ emotionally ill for a couple hours.  I would bet the deer were pushing 400 in weight.  Someone not knowing me would go bah humbug, but these deer were absolutely GIANTS.  The rest of you that know I am extremely cautious or conservative about weight should have your jaws on the floor.  These two deer just about didn't fit in the back of this truck.  They were pushing 30+ wide(mainfraome not cheaters) and typically tall enough you didn't even notice the width.  DARK heavy bones.  They won't score crap which is typical up there but they were giants.
Then I am out seeing these bucks. LOL

HEY, they still outscore Phools moose :chuckle:

When I first read your statement in the first post, my jaw did hit the floor as I know how conservative you are.  I then started the disbelief stage, then decided I had to ask.

DAMN!  Why can't I even see those kind of deer!

I like the freak bucks you see.  Would be nice to find a big old freak and have a shoulder mount done.

The first one is probably damaged, while the second looks like maybe the pedical is in the wrong spot, so may end up having this when he is bigger.  I'll be on the lookout.  I know Dekuma, to see two of them side by side by one guy just plain made me ill.  I am dieing to get one on film.  Usually see a couple but never get him on film.  This trip didn't see any.  I found one, and will target him later this week, maybe, just maybe...... his rubs are immense and he has cheaters catching the backsides of these rubs.  I miised him by about 5 minutes if not pushed him.  I'm bound and determined to get him on film.   Missed a huge bull by 1/2 a second too, but thats another story.

This is not such a great picture but I shot a whitetail deer once that had a messed up horn. It's the one that is on the bottom row just left of center. The horn was still in velvet and covered the whole eye so it was blind on that side.

If it's smok'in it's cook'in. If it's black it's done.
